The statue of Ma'khür is a small part of a bigger environmental project I started a couple of months ago to try to bring my hell project to Blender's Eevee renderer. The statue itself was taking long enough that I thought having a post about only the statue would give me the oportunity of practicing rendering and exporting workflow on Blender.
The statue was sculpted in Zbrush and exported as a low poly decimated model. I did tileable textures in substance painter and created masks and for mixing all of these together on the statue with the intention of having enough ress for close ups.
The shading and rendering is done in Blender's Eevee realtime renderer, and then added the final depth of field and postprocesing on After Effects. The music is a slightly modified folia by Vivaldi since renaissance and baroque music are the musics that inspired this whole project.
